The City of Troy Breeders' Cup gallop is free to enter thanks to Southwell.

Potential spectators will need to pre-register once details are confirmed.
The public will be able to witness the Derby winner's racecourse gallop later this month, and Southwell is ready to receive the throngs of fans from the City of Troy.
Before the much-anticipated culmination of his career at Del Mar, Aidan O'Brien had long suggested visiting the Nottinghamshire track to test his Breeders' Cup Classic contender on a synthetic surface.
On September 20, the remarkable Juddmonte International Stakes winner will have a field day at the Rolleston site, where O'Brien intends to imitate the conditions his Group One hero will encounter in California.

In preparation for his transatlantic assignment, City of Troy will be tested at Southwell alongside American starting stallions and a strong stable group. Ballydoyle also expressed their desire for the racing public to attend and see what may be the Justify colt's last race on UK land.
Executive director of Southwell, Mark Clayton, has now announced that the racecourse will open its gates to the general public. Upon finalization of the gallop arrangements, attendees will need to register for a complimentary ticket to the event.
"We've decided that everyone is welcome to come and watch City of Troy on September 20," he stated.
"We're not sure exactly when he will gallop, but as soon as we do, we'll announce with all the details.
"The public is invited to attend at no cost; all they have to do is register in advance on our website.
"That is not live yet, and we won't take reservations until that is confirmed. However, we anticipate that the arrangements will be finalized as soon as possible, at which point our website will launch." What a wonderful occasion it will be for us, and we will take care of everyone."
Having completed a lap of the course before their American endeavors, O'Brien has previously taken members of his all-conquering string to Southwell, including Giant's Causeway and Galileo.
Now a Tapeta all-weather track, the previously Fibresand surface is pleased to keep its image as the 'go-to' venue for Breeders' Cup preparations, and executives are trying to entice Big Evs back there, as Mick Appleby's star sprinter also points towards California this autumn.
The son of Blue Point, who was on the course a year ago when he won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint, will, like City Of Troy, finish his racing career in the suburbs of San Diego.
Clayton went on, "Who knows, he might be leaving to try something spectacular, and this might be the last time we see the City of Troy on our shores.
"Having Aidan O'Brien visit Southwell is a really special occasion that comes along maybe once every ten years, so it would be good to make the most of it.
Additionally, we want to persuade Big Evs to return for his annual gallop before the Breeders' Cup. Mick has hinted at it to me, but nothing is official yet.
It can only benefit the course's profile if we can start to use it for that kind of thing. Although the course's one-mile, two-furlong flat oval configuration isn't quite like the dirt in America, it's nonetheless a great attempt to mimic an American track."
